Ok. I know for a FACT everyone is either going to have: neutral, negative, and/or positive comments and feelings towards this clip. It was a homework assignment for my Criminal Investigations class, and decided to think outside the box instead of just bringing in a poster with pictures. It was an extremely hot day and we were racing against the rain!!! I was not feeling well at all!! I don't care what anyone has to say about my crappy dance scene ( i know its bad!) But I do in fact dance extremely well! The dance was supposed to be done on an actual floor.. Sadly with limited areas and resources, I had to improv and in 2 seconds re-create a new simple dance that would work on the almost non-existing floor ( Literally the floor was a tiny slab of concrete and jagged rocks everywhere!! I fell so many times and cut myself up!) By the time we filmed the last take, I just didn't care how the dance scene looked, just wanted to get it done and leave! (Also this is before I lost weight!!! lol Im sooo much thinner now yayy!! ) Anyways, I know half of Youtube wont read this, but if you do at least you know more or less the reasons for the film. In the end it was a fun assignment and at least I made people laugh ;D Hope you enjoy!! She nodded and smiled at me while she applied the last applications to my arm. "There." She exhaled satisfied as she stood up to wash her hands. I followed her and stood up as well, cleaning up the kit after her and placed it on the counter as I stood beside her. She looked at me apologetically, "Im so sorry." "Everything's fine." "Yeah but someone couldve found out! Everyone couldve found out, it would be chaos!" I placed my hand on her shoulder comfortably, "But they didnt so calm down." She sighed and shut her eyes, exhaling and inhaling repeatedly before stopping and opening her eyes. "You okay?" She nodded, "yeah. I'll be more aware next time." "Thank you. Now we gotta get back to class.." She looked at me nervously, "Riiight. Uh oh." "We can just improv. Come on." I grabbed the kit and headed towards the door while Heather unlocked it, and we both peeked out to see noone in sight as we sneaked out the washroom and towards the lockers. When we stepped back into the room, everyone's heads whipped straight towards us while Heather and I stood there awkwardly. Hey! This song...scared me in a lot of ways. First off, the original is all orchestrated and thinking of a great way to incorporate that into a more rock feel really challenged me (and let me tell you, there needed to be a LOT of layers of strings to get anywhere even close to a larger sound). I really love this song and I think this turned out very well. The first half was sort of what I had in my head and what I wanted to put out, the second half was almost an improv that I feel made a really nice climatic close to this epic song. My arrangement is called "Tale of the Gallant Colossus". Tell me what you think!
