Heres a virtual movie of the great Edgar Allan Poe reading "To One in Paradise" first published without a title as part of the short story "The Visionary" (later renamed "The Assignation"). It evolved into "To Ianthe in Heaven" and then into "To One Beloved" before being named "To One in Paradise" in the February 25, 1843 Saturday Museum. Modernist poet William Carlos Williams considered "To One In Paradise" one of his most preferred poems.[ The poem inspired a song composed by Sir Arthur Sullivan. "To One In Paradise" was published posthumously in 1904 and written for a tenor voice with piano. It is also the basis of the song To One In Paradise on the Alan Parsons Project 1976 album Tales of Mystery and Imagination. Heres an interesting analysis.. The first stanza establishes a prototypical image of an island paradise. Often we associate Islands with tropical ocean beauty, as well as isolation. The second stanza "clouds" cover the image of the dream and the future calls to him to move forward, but he can't get over the past that held the dream. The speaker loses the strength to keep going on with life comparing his grief at the loss of his dreams to other things (tree, etc.) that can't go on into the future once some calaminity happens. This has remained a mystery for scientists, because the thick clouds of gas obscure the surface of the planet from direct observation by telescopes or orbiters. Below all those clouds there is a surface that rotates at a constant speed. Since scientists can't directly see the surface, they've taken another approach: listening. With the help of radio emissions that come from the interior of Saturn, scientists have been able to close in on its rotation period. Charged particles trapped in the interior emit radio waves when they interact with Saturn's magnetic field, at about 100 Kilohertz. It's as if Saturn had its own radio station broadcasting at a certain frequency, and as the magnetic field deep inside the planet rotates it changes the frequency of the station. "Das Vermächtnis 3 - Artefakt des Todes" ist ein ziemlicher Überraschungs-Kandidat, denn so richtig wollte sich das polnische Team von CITY Interactive nicht zu einem dritten Abenteuer von sylvie Leroux äußern. Für Fans der Vorgänger wird besonders auffällig sein, dass Sylvie völlig anders aussieht als noch in Teil 1 und 2. Das liegt aber daran, dass CITY Interactive neue Grafik-Designer angeheuert hat (zB NVIDEA) um weniger guten Kritiken (wie eigentlich bei allen Titeln dieser Firma) auszuweichen.
